About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant to join its Nampa Float Pool. This part-time position is scheduled for two 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., and requires flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The role supports clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist, and patient-service coordination tasks. It also provides nursing care and related non-professional services to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort, under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by the State of Idaho, or completion of the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Six months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Perform clerical, receptionist, and patient-service coordination to support clinical staff at the unit level.
Provide nursing care and related non-professional services to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to care competently for assigned age groups, as applicable: neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
