About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant to join its Nampa Float Pool. This role supports clinical staff at the unit level through clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination duties. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, the CNA or Unlicensed Assistive Personnel performs nursing care and related non-professional services to meet patients’ personal needs and promote their comfort. The schedule consists of two 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The employee must be flexible to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by the State of Idaho, or completion of the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills to competently care for assigned age groups, as applicable: neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Nice To Haves

Six months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting.
