About The Position
Lakeside Generations, a Cassia senior community, is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The CNA helps residents maintain independence by assisting with personal care, daily activities, treatments, and prescribed program activities. The position works a varying schedule that includes every other weekend and a holiday rotation. The available shift is nights, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. The wage range is $22.60–$24.96 per hour, depending on experience, with a $3-per-hour night shift differential and a $2,500 part-time bonus. Lakeside Generations is a small campus in Dassel, Minnesota, next to a garden and lake. Requirements
- Must be on the Minnesota Registry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Help residents reach and maintain the highest possible level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
- Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse and according to the individualized care plan.
- Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed; report changes or concerns to the RN.
- Document services performed using the computerized charting system.
- Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
- Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition, including changes in attitude, reaction, or appetite, to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
