CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Part Time) - Am Shift
About The Position
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to serve at Essentia Living Center, our long-term care facility located in Fosston, Minnesota. This CNA works an average of 12 hours weekly on the am shift, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Every other weekend and a holiday rotation are required. Generous weekend differentials are available. Requirements
- Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program, current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtains within 4 months of hire/transfer date.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and for serving the needs of residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, within the scope of the nursing assistant role.
- Provides personal hygiene care, assists with providing for nutritional needs; recognizes and deals with the problems of the aging process, recognizes and promptly report changes in resident condition to shift nurse, and maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for the residents.
- Must be aware of and prevent the abuse of vulnerable adults in the care of the Essentia Health skilled nursing facility.
- Maintains awareness of safety issues and strives to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective actions.
