About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for our clients. As a BAYADA CNA, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. You’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with activities of daily living, household support, meal preparation and feeding, range of motion/exercises, assisting with ambulation, and medication reminders.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience.
• Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with range of motion/exercises.
• Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
• Provide medication reminders.
