Certified Nursing Assistant
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists licensed care staff with clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents. Duties include helping residents with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining and tray services, escort services, vital signs, weights, and other assigned care-related tasks. As part of the care team, the CNA participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and reports changes in residents’ conditions as they occur. The position is at Vi at The Glen, 2500 Indigo Lane, Glenview, Illinois 60026. The stated pay range is USD $19.80–$23.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Experience is required.
- Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications.
- Current First Aid certification, or willingness and ability to become First Aid certified.
- Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required.
- Basic computer skills or the ability to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with geriatric clients.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Responsibilities
