About The Position
Senior Helpers is hiring licensed Certified Nursing Assistants to provide one-on-one, non-medical home care throughout Rhode Island. The role focuses on individualized support in clients’ homes, building meaningful relationships while providing professional care. Immediate openings are listed in Providence, Cranston, Warwick, Pawtucket, East Providence, West Warwick, Johnston, Smithfield, Middletown, Cumberland, Coventry, Newport, Narragansett, and South Kingstown. Pay is $21–$24 per hour. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible schedules based on availability and shifts in mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Requirements
- Active Rhode Island Certified Nursing Assistant license or temporary CNA license.
- Ability to pass a national background check.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide personal care and hygiene support.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Monitor clients’ diet and overall well-being.
- Support clients during post-hospital recovery.
