About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. This is a full-time second-shift position, scheduled from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The CNA supports residents with daily living needs, documents care, reports changes in health or behavior, and helps residents engage in meaningful activities while providing emotional support and exceptional service.

Requirements

• Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
