About The Position
Johns Island Post Acute is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its 132-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Johns Island, South Carolina. The CNA helps provide exceptional care to residents in a warm, family-like environment, supporting residents’ daily needs, comfort, and well-being while working alongside nurses and other care staff. Available schedules include day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.; flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, may be needed.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in South Carolina.
- Passion for elder care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Provide residents with emotional support and companionship.
- Record vital signs and assist with basic medical care.
- Collaborate with nurses and other care staff to support the best outcomes for residents.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment.
