About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant supports patients in the Memory Care department at Providence Village in Waco, Texas. The role includes assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, supporting physician-ordered procedures under RN supervision, reporting changes in patients’ condition, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment. The schedule is rotating and PRN.
Requirements
- Nurse Aide certification obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.
Nice To Haves
- BLS Provider certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Memory Care experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with basic care activities, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Assist patients with safe transfers or transport.
- Assist with physician-ordered procedures under RN supervision.
- Promptly report patients’ physical, mental, or emotional changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.
- Identify and respond to safety hazards or emergency situations.
