About The Position

Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in creating a warm, supportive, and homelike environment where residents’ well-being is prioritized. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living and provides companionship and reassurance, while honoring each resident’s dignity, respect, and need for individualized attention.

This opportunity is at University and offers day, evening, and night shifts. Full-time CNAs are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in installments after 180 days, after 270 days, and upon the one-year anniversary. Nursing Assistants in Training who earn CNA certification by November 30 are also eligible. Terms and conditions apply; the offer expires November 30, 2026.

Requirements

• Hold a valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
• Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Have the stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
• Demonstrate supportive presence, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Provide residents with companionship and reassurance.
• Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment that prioritizes resident well-being, dignity, respect, and individualized attention.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values when interacting with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
