About The Position
Apex Home Care Services is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and multiple towns and cities within Adams County. CNAs assist patients with daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and help improve patients’ quality of life. The role includes supporting personal hygiene and mobility, monitoring food intake and vital signs, providing adjunct patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Part-time and full-time availability is offered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Compassionate, respectful, and ethical approach.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience.
- Experience with EMR documentation systems such as PointClickCare or MatrixCare.
- Bilingual ability in Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Yiddish, Haitian Creole, Bengali, or other commonly spoken languages.
- Availability during the work week and potentially on weekends.
Responsibilities
