About The Position
The Department of Head/Neck and PCU has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant to work in UTower. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs standard patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. More specifically, the incumbent assists patients in dressing and undressing, bathing, and eating, and collects noninvasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs. Additionally, this employee aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures and documents patient interactions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNA license and BLS certification.
- Minimum of 0 - 1 year of relevant Acute Care hospital experience.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients in dressing and undressing, bathing, and eating.
- Collects noninvasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs.
- Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures.
