About The Position
Franciscan Health Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Franciscan Care Center, a 68-bed skilled nursing facility in Merced, California. The facility provides 24/7 skilled nursing care in a small, warm environment for residents receiving short-term rehabilitation, along with physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. The role provides resident assistance and personal care. This is a PRN position providing holiday and weekend coverage, with pay of $21.12–$25.72 per hour. Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Help residents with daily activities.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support personal care and hygiene.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Keep resident rooms clean and organized.
- Provide compassionate care to residents.
