About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in a behavioral health setting. The role supports patients on a behavioral health unit and may also involve working as a sitter on a medical-surgical unit. Various shifts are available, combining 8-hour shifts across 5 days per week, during the day and/or night. Holiday coverage may be required, and candidates must be flexible and willing to adjust to varying shift needs.
Requirements
- CNA certification is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health unit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities.
- Support patients’ mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor patient behavior and report changes to nursing staff.
- Ensure a safe environment for all patients.
