About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, customer service-oriented care focused on patients’ comfort and well-being, while supporting their families. The role supports care and services for patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds and promotes ethical, holistic care that respects patient autonomy and dignity. The CNA also helps create a safe and supportive environment for patients. This position is based at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital, a 226-bed not-for-profit hospital serving the Yakima Valley.
Requirements
- Current Washington State CNA license.
- Current BLS Certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage basic care activities and deliver care with a customer service orientation.
- Support the delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care that promotes the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
- Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients.
