About The Position
Acts is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care to residents in its skilled nursing neighborhood. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the CNA delivers compassionate, high-quality care and provides hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility. The role prioritizes residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity. The CNA monitors residents’ physical and emotional well-being and promptly reports changes to licensed nursing staff to support proactive, personalized care. The position is available across all shifts. The listed pay range is $21.75 per hour; starting rate varies based on skills and experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Current CPR certification, or obtain it within three months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in the skilled nursing neighborhood under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
- Prioritize residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity.
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Promptly report changes in residents’ condition to licensed nursing staff.
