About The Position

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team in a non-profit skilled nursing facility. This role focuses on providing excellent, personalized care to residents facing temporary setbacks or terminal diagnoses. The CNA will work alongside LVNs and RNs to ensure accurate medical care and enriching personal interactions. The ideal candidate will be friendly, dedicated, and committed to high-quality resident care, adhering to all regulations and policies. Responsibilities include directing and documenting nursing duties, monitoring care plans, and reporting to the Director of Staff Development and Director of Nursing.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Current & valid CNA license in State of California
Excellent interpersonal skills including patience and compassion
Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple items/tasks as required
Ability to maintain appropriate level of confidentiality and privacy
Willingness and ability to respond effectively to emergency and/or crisis situation

Nice To Haves

Professional experience in long-term care

Responsibilities
