CNA - 2nd Shift
About The Position
St. Dominic Villa, an Illuminus Community, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide person-centered personal care for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Nestled in the Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin, St. Dominic Villa offers long-term skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services. We provide a welcoming atmosphere, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of seniors. We have Full-Time Evening Shift (PM) opportunities available with 8-hour shifts and an every-other-weekend rotation, as well as Casual/PRN positions with flexible scheduling. We also offer a Medication Administration Aide (MAA) role for nursing students seeking hands-on experience.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Be current on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
- Active CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
- Current CPR certification.
- Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
- Ability to relate well to all individuals.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adapt to change.
Nice To Haves
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (for MAA role).
- Documentation of successful completion of a Pharmacology course (for MAA role).
- Documentation of a completed clinical course that includes a medication pass rotation (for MAA role).
