About The Position
Part-time day shift CNA role in Sheridan, MI starting at $17/hour. Provide hands-on patient care in a supportive hospital setting with a strong team environment. This role provides essential, hands-on patient care, supporting nurses and helping ensure patients are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required (or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant)
- BLS certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to safely lift and assist patients (50+ lbs as needed)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous clinical or patient care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Assist with equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, and bedside needs
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and hydration
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe care environment
- Assist with basic clerical and documentation tasks
- Communicate effectively with nurses and care team members
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Support both Med/Surg and Emergency Department needs based on patient volume
