About The Position

Parkdale Health and Rehab is a skilled nursing facility in Price, UT, seeking to expand its nursing team. They offer a supportive environment for CNAs to grow, focusing on care for geriatric patients requiring 24/7 attention. This is a part-time position for the Day Shift, with flexible hours (6 AM to 2 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, or 6 AM to 6 PM) depending on availability and facility needs.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
