About The Position
Freedom Home Care is seeking dependable, caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for seniors and individuals who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. This role offers a rewarding career where you can make a meaningful difference every day.
Requirements
- Current Minnesota CNA certification or previous CNA certification with related caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle and up-to-date auto insurance
- Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS Background Study
- Ability to complete all required onboarding requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safety needs
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Complete accurate care documentation
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Follow each client's individualized care plan
