Certified Nursing Assistant
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant works in the Behavioral Health department as a licensed assistive person. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit, the CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. Landmark Medical Center is a 214-bed acute care hospital in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. It serves communities in northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts and is a member of Prime Healthcare. The position is part time at 24 hours per week, with an evening schedule from 2:45 to 11:15 p.m.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
