About The Position
Beloit Health System is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our busy team at Beloit Memorial Hospital in our Family Care Center. We're seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who are passionate about helping others and making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families. In this role as a Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), you'll provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in Wisconsin
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Demonstrates ability to do simple math functions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs
- Assisting with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Providing comfort, dignity, and emotional support to patients
- Answering call lights and responding promptly to patient needs
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Supporting nursing staff with patient care activities
- Accurately documenting care provided according to hospital standards
