About The Position

High Point Residence Carlinville is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care to residents and support their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. The CNA will collaborate closely with the nursing team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The role is suited to someone passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Open shifts include evening and afternoon shifts, and availability every other weekend is required.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or memory care.
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs.
• Assist with medication administration under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team.
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through communication and interpersonal skills.
• Support accurate documentation and quality care through attention to detail.
• Work in an organized manner, both independently and as part of a team.
