About The Position

Valeo Home Health & Hospice, a clinician-led and operated home health and hospice agency serving counties in Utah, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients served by Valeo Home Health. The CNA provides hands-on assistance in patients’ homes with daily living activities, supporting their comfort, safety, and independence. Attendant care is not provided; housekeeping, errands, and companionship are not part of the role.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal reliable transportation.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
• One year of direct patient experience in a hospital, facility, or home setting.
• Listed on the nurse aide registry with no finding against the aide relating to client abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of client property.
• Willingness to travel between patient homes, visiting 6–8 clients per day, with visits lasting up to one hour per client.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow the instructions of the professional nurse or therapist in providing care.
• Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
• Assist with ambulation, positioning, and turning.
