About The Position
Redwood Cove Healthcare Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nurses. The role supports the quality of life and well-being of seniors in a warm, supportive environment and offers an opportunity to gain experience in healthcare.
Requirements
- Hold valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Provide care with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Help residents with mobility and transfers.
- Assist with mealtime activities and feeding as needed.
- Document resident care activities and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Follow facility policies and procedures to support resident safety and well-being.
