About The Position

University Park Care Center, a 5-star CMS rated facility and recognized as one of the Best Nursing Homes in Colorado for 2026, is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. As an affiliate of Life Care Centers of America, a 47-year industry leader with over 200 locations, the center emphasizes the vital role of each associate in providing quality patient care and fostering professional growth through multidisciplinary teams. The CNA will be an important member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. This includes delivering direct care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
  • Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
  • CPR certification must remain current during employment

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
  • Deliver direct care to patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed.
  • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

Benefits

  • $2,000 sign on bonus for full time
  • $2/hr to $3/hr night shift differentials
