About The Position

BrightStar Care of Central DuPage is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate and high-quality care to our clients in Bloomingdale, IL. As a CNA, you will work closely with our healthcare team to assist patients with activities of daily living and support their health and well-being respectfully and professionally. 1-on-1 home care and Facility Staffing Opportunities available. Requirements

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
One year of experience in a healthcare or caregiving role required
Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Current TB Test and Work Physical
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Must be able to pass required background checks and screenings

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Subject matter expert in Fall Prevention and Fall Precaution measures
Monitor and document patients’ health status and report any changes to the nursing team
Support mobility and assist with transfers and exercises as directed
Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Follow infection control and safety procedures strictly
