About The Position
Union General Health System offers on-the-job training for individuals to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), with no prior experience needed. The position participates in basic nursing care for patients from admission through discharge and performs non-nursing functions, including keeping rooms clean and stocked, completing clerical duties as assigned, answering phones, and relaying messages appropriately. The role is responsible to the nurses, Charge Nurse, and manager.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Earn CNA certification while working full time.
