About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants to provide personalized, one-on-one care to patients in their homes. CNAs help patients with activities of daily living and mobility, promote a safe home environment, follow assigned service plans, and report and document changes in patient condition or safety. The role offers flexible assignments, with no weekends or holidays required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature and good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, nail and skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Follow the assignment sheet or service plan and perform only assigned tasks.
• Recognize, report, and document changes in patient or client condition and safety to the supervisor.
