ACU Certified Nursing Assistant - Per Diem
About The Position
Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant to join its ACU team. The CNA provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients within the scope of practice and supports patients and the care team throughout admission, transfer, and discharge. The role also involves reviewing patient care plans daily and assisting with hygiene, nutrition, and hydration. The ACU team is described as a close group committed to Jefferson Healthcare’s mission and quality patient care. The schedule is per diem, 0–16 hours per week, with variable shifts of 0700–1930 or 1900–0730. Candidates must complete pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and, for certain positions, a drug test. Safety-sensitive roles may be subject to a standard or modified non-THC drug panel, consistent with Washington State law.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Washington State Nurse Assistant-Certified (NA-C) certification.
- Current BLS/CPR (Healthcare Provider) certification, active prior to start.
- Complete required pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and, for certain positions, a drug test.
