Certified Nursing Assistant - Per Diem
About The Position
Provide direct personal care and services to residents, including safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and resident protection, under the supervision of a registered professional nurse or licensed practical nurse. Per-diem openings are available on day, evening, and night shifts. Employees must work a minimum of five full shifts per month and one weekend per month. Lutheran Care Center is a 160-bed nonprofit nursing and rehabilitation facility in the Hudson Valley and a subsidiary of The Lutheran Care Network. The facility requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, MMR, and PPD.
Requirements
- Complete Certified Nursing Assistant training and hold current New York State certification.
- Work a minimum of five full shifts per month.
- Work one weekend per month.
- Read, write, and comprehend English.
- Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, MMR, and PPD.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a nursing home or hospital.
