About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Palmer, AK. This position is for a skilled nursing setting and requires compassionate hands-on support. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring their condition, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning
- Maintain hygiene, comfort, and safety of residents
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Provide compassionate hands-on support in skilled nursing setting
- Observe and communicate patient needs to nursing staff
- Ensure dignity and quality of life for all residents
- Follow care plans and facility protocols
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment
