About The Position

CareOne is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at CareOne at The Cupola in Paramus, NJ. This position offers full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities across multiple shifts. The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including tasks such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, and changing linens. The role requires dedication to quality care and the ability to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served. The ideal candidate will be a supportive team member with patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and the ability to handle difficult residents, while also being able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.

Requirements

• Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation.
• Must be a certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
• Must have patience tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer experience with patients of all ages in a SNF setting.
