Our healthcare professionals have the opportunity each and every day to make a difference in the lives of older adults that reside in our quaint 43 bed skilled nursing facility located in Mercer Island on the shores of Lake Washington. 5 mins from Factoria Mall. 3 mins off I-90. We offer a 1:8 CNA to resident ratio and support of a nursing supervisor 7 days a week with 2 nurses on duty 24 hours. Shift differentials are offered.

Requirements

Possess strong customer service skills
Have good attendance
Reports directly to the nurse manager, may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
High School diploma or the equivalent.
Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment, including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer, etc.
Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner by providing light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside table, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
Assists with resident laundry assuring clothes are marked, clean and mended, ironed, and put away.
Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding of residents.
May be cross trained in Assisted Living.
