About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The CNA performs duties within the limits of the position, does not administer medications or therapy, and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties must be performed consistently with PAM Health’s policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- CNA certification where required by the state in which the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.
- High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position; do not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care.
- Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
