CNA 5 North Telemetry Extra On Call Day shifts
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant works on 5 North Telemetry on an extra on-call basis during day shifts. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current California Department of Public Health certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR card. Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with medical center staff, patients, families, visitors, and physicians in routine and stressful situations are required. Two years of experience in an acute or skilled care facility is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant through the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with medical center staff, patients, family, visitors, and physicians in routine and stressful situations.
