About The Position

Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Phoenix, AZ. This is a great contract position. Please see qualifications below and submit your resume if you are interested in being considered: Shift Requirement: MIDSHIFT (09:00 AM – 09:30 PM) – Must commit to 3x12-hour shifts weekly Position Type: 13 Weeks Contract plus extension Facility: Lower Buckeye Jail (LBJ), in the Infirmary – No floating to other jails Position Description: Performs duties within the scope of practice to ensure quality patient care, under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel. Completes required documentation in the electronic health record or other modality. Prepares patients for examination and treatment, takes patient histories, vital signs, and records chief complaints. Performs office procedures, tests, and examinations. Maintains adequate supplies for exam/procedure rooms. Transcribes provider orders and schedules return appointments. Performs venipunctures and lab tests. Assists patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Requirements

  • Copy of current, valid, unrestricted license as a CNA issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing -OR- issued by a participating Compact State.
  • Copy of current, completed PSV from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing obtained via the following link: https://azbn.boardsofnursing.org/licenselookup
  • Copy of current, completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators.
  • Copy of current, completed First Aid Certification and BLS.
  • Minimum one year of past work experience in this position.
