Caregiver needed - 8 hour daytime shifts - Fridays 11a-7p
About The Position
Griswold Home Care for Chevy Chase is looking to hire a part time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients. This caregiver position earns a competitive wage of $21/hour. Requirements
- Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant License
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Reliable transportation
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts!
Responsibilities
- Help clients manage daily living tasks within their homes.
- Provide cheerful companionship.
- Assist with various responsibilities such as laundry, preparing meals, or grocery shopping.
- Provide non-medical care in a manner that preserves client dignity.
- Help clients bathe and maintain their personal hygiene.
- Provide caregiving services for clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift, keeping the office updated on any changes to client care.
