About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Chevy Chase is looking to hire a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients. Requirements

Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant License
CPR and First Aid Certification
Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
Willing to train.

Responsibilities

Help clients manage daily living tasks within their homes.
Provide cheerful companionship.
Assist with various responsibilities such as laundry, preparing meals, or grocery shopping.
Provide non-medical care in a manner that preserves client dignity.
Assist clients bathe and maintain their personal hygiene.
Provide caregiving services for clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments.
Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift, keeping the office updated on any changes to clients' care.
