About The Position
Wilmington Treatment Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for a night shift role. The position supports compassionate, patient-centered care by assisting with patients’ daily needs and promoting their overall well-being. The CNA assists with admissions, patient monitoring and transportation, and administrative duties for the nursing and medical departments. Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- CPR, First Aid, and de-escalation certification; training is available upon hire and offered by the facility.
- Current North Carolina driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a behavioral health setting and knowledge and experience working with the facility's population.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admitting patients by completing vital signs, pre-admission tests, and intake documentation.
- Complete vital signs and perform tests such as glucose, UDS, and HcG testing.
- Perform patient rounds.
- Transport patients as requested.
- Perform administrative duties associated with the nursing and medical departments.
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
