About The Position

Piedmont Geriatric Hospital (PGH) is currently hiring for evening/night shift rotations. This position will provide direct patient care according to individualized treatment care plans. This includes helping patients with activities of daily living and assisting them in learning new social and interactional skills in a safe therapeutic environment. The role requires the ability to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed staff, follow instructions, and report observations of bio-psychosocial needs and behaviors to a licensed nurse in a timely manner. Skills in providing direction and assistance to patients in activities of daily living are essential, along with knowledge of developmental and psychiatric disorders. Competencies must be demonstrated as defined on the Competency Assessment.

Requirements

Valid Driver's license
Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant license
Basic computer skills
