About The Position

Covenant Living, a large nonprofit senior living provider, is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their team. The role involves making a difference in the lives of older adults by improving their quality of life and providing peace of mind to them and their families. Requirements

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses or supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care, including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, and transportation/transfer.
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside areas, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assists with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away, and notifying supervisors of clothing needs.
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals, and feeds residents.
• May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.
