About The Position

Elderwood at Lancaster is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for their skilled nursing facility. Requirements

Seventeen (17) years of age required.
Registration in the State Nurse Aide Registry (CNA) is required.
Active on the State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment or misappropriation of property.
Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Caring and respectful attitude towards residents.
Physical stamina for constant activity required.
Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Training and work experience in a geriatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents in Elderwood skilled nursing facilities (SNF).
Work under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Assist in ensuring the health and well-being of residents by providing direct nursing care.
Participate in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, assessing, and evaluating resident care to ensure the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance.
