About The Position
Benedictine’s Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA-NAR) provide high-quality, compassionate direct care to residents. The role operates on the front lines of resident care, supporting residents’ dignity, respect, and choices. The CNA reports condition changes to an RN or LPN, charts in the POC system, and demonstrates effective time management and task prioritization.
Requirements
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- BLS Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care.
- Report residents’ condition changes to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Manage time and prioritize tasks.
