About The Position
Comfort Keepers is hiring compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care and personal support to seniors and adults in the Fort Worth area. We are currently seeking caregivers who are available to work 12-hour daytime and overnight shifts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients while helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available based on client needs and caregiver availability.
Requirements
- A current Texas CNA certification
- Bi-lingual: English/Spanish
- A valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- Availability to travel to client homes within Fort Worth and surrounding Tarrant County communities
- The ability to safely assist clients with personal care and mobility needs
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- A dependable, compassionate, and client-focused approach to care
- Willingness to complete required training and onboarding requirements
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of professional caregiving or CNA experience preferred
- Experience assisting seniors or individuals with ongoing care needs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation assistance
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance, when needed
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean living environment
- Offer companionship and social engagement
- Observe and report changes in a client's condition
- Communicate important information with the office and care team
- Follow each client's individualized care plan
