Certified Nursing Assistant
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant works in the Med/Surg Department as a certified assistive person. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit, the CNA assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. This position is scheduled for 32 hours per week, from 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., on the evening shift. Landmark Medical Center is a 214-bed acute care hospital in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, serving communities in northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
