Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA - PT/PRN - Long Term Care)
About The Position
Needville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to join its skilled nursing team. The facility supports a wide range of acuity levels and therapeutic programs, providing a dynamic, fast-paced environment for caregivers who are passionate about resident care. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. This is a part-time or PRN role focused on assisting residents with daily care, observing and reporting changes, documenting care, communicating with supervisors to support continuity of care, and participating in required training.
Requirements
- Be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work effectively in a team and in a fast-paced care environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Promptly observe and report changes in residents’ physical or behavioral condition to the Charge Nurse.
- Accurately and thoroughly document care provided and observations made during the shift.
- Communicate with supervisors at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure continuity of care.
- Attend and actively participate in required in-service education and training sessions.
