About The Position

2 East is a 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit that provides care to adult and geriatric patients. The staff cares for patients with a wide variety of acute conditions and patients with multiple comorbidities. The main function of this role is to provide personal care to maintain physical comfort, working under the supervision and delegation of registered nursing staff. This role will also include "Sitter" duties.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalency or enrolled in a co-op program with successful completion of HS diploma within 6 months.
• Current MA Certified Nurse Assistant License, EMT License, or current enrollment in a nursing program with sufficient hours of clinical rotation.
• Excellent organizational skills and work pace consistent with working in a busy, acute care unit.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification REQUIRED upon hire.
• Vaccinated against influenza (flu).

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years Cert. Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities
